We serve a range of beverages that have minimal intervention and work as locally and sustainably as possible, stocking our lantahandel with produce for people to create great meals at home alongside eating with us.     RECRUITING : SENIOR FOH POSITION - Restaurant General Manager - maternity cover with view to extend.


    As we head into 2022 we have our manager on maternity leave and need someone magical to come and join the team. WHilst starting as a full time maternity cover position, we have plans and developments on the horizon and so hope to make it a fulltime permanent position for the right person.


    We need to find someone with the people skills, passion and commitment to bring Paul Taylor even further along its road to being the inspiring, flavourful neighbourhood restaurant and Lanthandel we aim to be.


    Previous experience in restaurant management is essential, along with the ability to inspire and lead a team.

    The role is hands on and involve service on the restaurant floor so we require successful applicants to have a passion for looking after and meeting people and personality to become a face of the business.


    An interest in sustainability and circularity within food production and service will be advantageous and we are keen to work with a team that brings ideas to the table and wants to push and develop the way we work.

    There is space for ideas to flourish and the freedom to develop the business with us for the right candidate.

    Service skills - and an enjoyment of service.

    Team leadership, training and development.

    Staff administration, recruitment, planning and training.

    Restaurant maintenance and care.

    In house / off site event planning and management.

    Positive personality and willingness to work within a team. 

    Interest in beverage with strong wine knowledge.

    Financial accountability and decision making.

    Business development


    Desirable but not essential :

    Word press experience.

    In design experience.
