ABOUT GENERATOR STOCKHOLM

We're the pulsing, designed hostel right in the heart of the city – where backpackers, locals, creative types, and party people meet for cocktails, events, music, food and social vibes around the clock. Our bar and lounge are the heart of the house!

NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Prepare and serve high-quality drinks, cocktails, beer, wine, and simple bar bites according to our guidelines
• Provide exceptional service so guests want to return – foster a genuine guest-first mindset in the team
• Read guests, anticipate needs, and exceed expectations (small talk, recommendations, personal touch)
• Set up and maintain mis-en-place for the bar, lunch service, and events
• Be aware of revenue goals (upsell specials, packages, add-ons) and contribute to hitting them as a team
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and hygienic – always follow HACCP and alcohol rules
• Report maintenance, hygiene, or safety issues directly to the F&B Supervisor/Manager
• Comply with all company rules on security, fire, alcohol legislation, and food/drink safety
• Build on your product knowledge (trending cocktails, local beers, non-alc options) to boost revenue and guest experience
• Jump in where needed – wash glasses, clear tables, hit the floor or bar

• Calm and professional under pressure (full bar, rushes, events)
• Commercial touch – you enjoy selling specials and maximizing revenue
• Understand stock, waste minimization, and cost control
• True people person – social, warm, and always guest-focused
• Not afraid to get your hands dirty (dishes, cleaning, it's all in)
• Good communicator (Swedish a plus, English a must)
• Flexible – available for lunch, evenings, weekends, and events
• Eligible to work in the EU

YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE

• Experience from bars, restaurants, hostels, nightclubs, or similar (bartender, server, waiter/waitress)
• Genuine interest in drinks, cocktails, service, and trending bar concepts
• Knowledge of basic cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine – bonus for modern twists
• Passion for creating repeat guests and increasing revenue through great service
